ITX Corp. is hiring a Sr. Full-Stack Developer, RoR/React - Remote position available in the US (location restricted).

The Sr. Full-Stack Developer architects and builds rich hybrid applications that deliver experiences worthy of our clients' brands. This is achieved by leveraging the power of new technologies and frameworks, keeping in mind the concerns around functionality, security, performance and scalability. The Full-Stack developer constructs end-to-end application structures by using mature frameworks, such as React, to create inspiring user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with our powerful, robust back end.

Please note: This position is restricted to candidates based in the U.S., and as such, only applicants within the U.S. will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

· Writing easily maintainable, extendable, and understandable code that adheres to software engineering design principles.

· Optimizing code for efficiency, reducing unnecessary CPU and memory overhead and costs wherever possible.

· Participating in, contributing to, and creating an understanding of complex data relationships relating to health insurance plans and providers.

· Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, and resilient software architecture to serve customer needs.

· Suggesting and making use of open-source software as well as AWS, including but not limited to Unix and typical command-line tools, Docker, and Postgres.

· Develop and be responsible for the manipulation of large datasets with complex relationships. This includes efficient and robust workflows, adhering to the DevOps mindset.

· Working with functional leads to understand the provider data requirements, design, and implement new features.

Skills, knowledge and expertise: 

· Experience with React, TypeScript a plus.

· Experience with Ruby on Rails.

· Hands on coding skills in JavaScript and Ruby.

· Strong knowledge of data structures, design, algorithms.

· Familiarity with Git & Web development (HTML/JS/CSS).

· Working knowledge of integrated/unit testing, like RSpec or similar testing systems.

· Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries in large data sets. Preferred experience in PostgreSQL.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Motivated to solve complex problems.

In Rochester, N.Y., home to ITX’s headquarters, the pay range for a Full Stack Developer role is $74,000 to $117,000, depending on experience, specific skills and certifications, and education. Based on your location in the United States if you are in a place where the market for your role is higher or lower, this pay range could be 14% lower or 19% higher than the Rochester, N.Y. market.  

ITX has team members in many countries, and we use the same methodology for determining pay for all our teammates. For candidates outside of the United States, we use local market data to determine the benchmark range for the Full Stack Developer role.
