Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details Responsibilities:
As a Senior Electrical Power Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Designing and implementing substation layouts, cable tray layouts, power system studies, cable sizing studies, one line diagrams, electrical load lists, equipment specifications, and data sheets.
2. Developing and executing MCC and switchgear designs.
3. Leading the power distribution system design and lighting protection system design.
4. Ensuring all designs meet the required standards, codes, and regulations.
5. Providing technical support to the project team, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
6. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
7. Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
8. Mentoring and coaching junior engineers to foster skill development and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical power engineering, with a focus on substation layout, cable tray layout, power system studies, cable sizing studies, one line diagrams, electrical load lists, equipment specifications and data sheets, MCC design, switchgear design, power distribution system design, and lighting protection system design.
3. Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
