Position: SAP Specialist

Location: Oceanside, CA

Part Time [possibly to grow to Full Time]- In Person

Compensation: $30-$40/hr depending on experience

Overview : FutureStitch is a growing global knitwear manufacturer seeking an SAP Specialist to play a pivotal role in successfully launching SAP within their USA factory by facilitating seamless coordination between FutureStitch's China and USA factories. The SAP Specialist will ensure that key stakeholders are thoroughly trained in the daily utilization of SAP systems. In addition to this, the SAP Specialist will oversee and prioritize projects that improve internal systems, including the integration of add-on platforms to transition proprietary programs into SAP-compatible systems and providing continuous software support and development, with the primary objective of enhancing factory efficiencies through digital software solutions. This role will be instrumental in driving digital transformation within the organization and optimizing operations across international facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Q1 24: Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP, from project planning and design to configuration and deployment, ensuring that system meets the needs of manufacturing operations.
• Q1 24: Successfully launch SAP in coordination between FutureStitch’s China and USA factories.
• Q2 24: Properly train key stakeholders in using SAP daily.
• Q2 24: Manage the integration of SAP with existing systems, including data migration and ensuring data integrity.
• Q3 24: Complete priority-based program projects; including managing add-on platforms to convert proprietary programs into an SAP-friendly connection and implementing barcode scanning for production floor inventory-movement use.
• Q4 24: Continued software support and development to increase factory efficiencies through digital software.
• Assist Factory Plant Manager and Operations Specialist with ad hoc data and production projects, as needed.

Requirements/Experience :

Experience implementing SAP

EDI/API integration experience

ERP [preferred SAP] maintenance experience

ERP [preferred SAP] development experience

Preferred Skills :

Web development/programming experience

Manufacturing focus
