Scope of Position:

The Researcher position is responsible for soliciting and maintaining bids and agreements with current and potential organizations within Arrow's industry segment. The focus is to help Arrow succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company.

Essential Job Duties:

• Researching and scanning databases pertaining to bids and proposal requirements to create opportunity and alignment with Arrow's mission, skills, and operations.
• Calling on industry specific opportunities to ensure Arrow's participation in procurement program.
• Research and identify available opportunities, primarily among state and federal agencies, retailers and commercial organizations and register the organization on applicable platforms.
• Seek out and identify potential data and research to support work and provide timely communication to internal stakeholders.
• Develop competitive and compelling bids and proposals under deadline pressure.

• Adjust writing style to conform with the expectations of the respective audiences.
• Keep up to date on assigned platforms known to have RFP, RFR, Proposals and Contracts and monitor timeline and expiration dates.
• Maintain CRM database to track and manage the status of all pipeline opportunities.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or a related field
• Highly proficient with CRMs, including Salesforce or related platforms
• 2 years + experience in researching company focused proposal and contract opportunities and ability to create an organizational process for pre bidding information.
• Above average skill with the classic Microsoft software products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well the knowledge to harness other efficiency tools.
• Experience with Zoom Info a plus.
