Responsibilities: - Serve as the product owner on one of the App modernization development team, supporting projects on web applications in the Research Department, such as FRED, ALFRED and others.
- Main area of focus will be on technical modernization and 508 compliance of FRED website.
- Manage and prioritize backlog related to app tech modernization projects, change the order of items in the prioritized list of requirements as needed to maintain a cohesive vision regarding the product.
- Maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring stories meet the user's needs and comply with the Definition of Done.
- Providing clarification necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and sequencing including writing requirements, refining user stories, planning stories into sprints.
- Work with the development team to inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration.
- Gather information and provide results to team to determine performance level and readiness to move on to next steps in the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with other agile teams on cross teamwork dependency.
- Participate in all pre-planning, stand-up, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, roadmaps, and other meetings as requested.
- Build release plan and confirm feasibility and estimate efforts of projects with respect to business objectives and report to product manager.
- Track progress towards the desired outcomes for web applications. Work with team to identify and organize the steps required for each iteration in product development.
- Collaborate with business owners on production deployments and testing needs.
- Promptly provide written status updates to the Bank, as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
- PMP, Scrum, and Agile certifications preferred.
- 3+ years' relevant experience in a role requiring technical acumen.
- Demonstrated experience in an Agile work environment utilizing Scrum methodologies and Agile tools (Digital.ai or similar).
- Demonstrated experience in quickly developing an advanced understanding of current business processes and products.
- Strong analytical and writing skills including solid experience in writing functional specifications.
- dvanced ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and confidently with users, team members, program management and stakeholders.
- Skilled at establishing and maintaining organizational relationships with a diverse group of people, in a combined virtual and in-person environment.
- Perform as a flexible, dependable self-starter capable of gathering information quickly and applying it to projects.
- Experience working with economic information preferred.
