Job Description
Join us in the role of Manager of Video Production at Jazwares, where you will lead all aspects of video production across our diverse brands. This position demands deep expertise in videography, video editing, and motion graphics, as well as strong team management and process optimization skills. It's a role that combines creative execution and managerial responsibilities, with approximately 70% of your time dedicated to hands-on production work and 30% to managerial tasks.
What you will do: - Organize and direct all facets of video production, including location scouting, talent selection, and acting as lead cinematographer.
- Operate or coordinate the operation of lighting, audio, and camera support equipment.
- Lead the execution of product and lifestyle videography, crafting the look and feel of each shoot.
- Oversee the post-production workflow, including video/audio editing, color correction, and motion graphics creation.
- Manage the creation, editing, and distribution of all video assets across multiple platforms.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the video production team, including coordinators and freelance collaborators.
- Host regular status meetings and 1:1 sessions with team members to manage workloads and provide guidance.
- Perform team evaluations and oversee HR procedures, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize video production processes, including internal workflows, asset management, and approval procedures.
- Advise on and manage equipment needs, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure the highest production standards are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends and cutting-edge techniques to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and project specifications.
- Initiate and lead meetings with collaborators to clarify project revisions and ensure deadlines are met.
- Present final video products to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to ensure efficient and accurate workflows.
- Manage digital asset organization and personal storage optimization.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Photography & Video.

What we are looking for: - Associate's degree in video production or other industry relevant field, or a comparable trade degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in video production, including videography and editing in the CPG industry.
- At least 5 years of experience managing video production teams of 5 or more members.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating creative abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Sony camera setup, lighting setup, and composition.
- Strong visual skills with attention to detail, consistency, and color accuracy.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a creative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, with the ability to effectively present ideas and receive feedback.
- Experience with video tethering setup and broadcasting over platforms like Google Video Chat.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) and Adobe Suite Certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of 3D software is a plus.

Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentives may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, the salary range may not apply to other states.
