The Role:
We seek a Germany Researcher to contribute to the collection, review, and management of political violence and protest data across Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein. This remote position requires 30 hours per week, offering flexibility with weekend deliverables. This role is ideal for entry-level contractors seeking hands-on experience in conflict research.

Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze political violence and protest data from diverse sources.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability using Excel templates.
Contribute to comprehensive coverage of current events, from protests to conflicts.
Skills and Qualifications:

University degree in conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or related fields.
Proficiency in Excel and fluency in English and German (Dutch proficiency preferred).
Experience in desk-based research and meeting deadlines independently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback.
Familiarity with political, social, and protest movements in Germany and neighboring countries.
Access to a computer, reliable internet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
