Job Description The Director, Sales Home Depot, eCommerce is a leadership role reporting directly to the Vice President, National Accounts Home Depot. The Director, Sales Home Depot, eCommerce, will support all activities related to sales and relationship growth for our eCommerce program across all MasterBrand business categories and channels at The Home Depot. This includes strategy development, presentation creation, analysis, forecasting, and tactical preparation related to customer programs, meetings, calls and events. This position is responsible for developing and executing “go to market” strategies within the Commercial Home Center Retail channel that will drive profitable growth and increase market share.

YOUR ROLE:

Develop and implement sales strategies, programs, and plans that will maximize MasterBrand revenue and profitability. Identify opportunities from within the existing MasterBrand line that will achieve the “best practice” scenario and recommended additions that will result in market share gains. Build and closely manage relationships at the Merchant level and beyond, to create and enhance the partnership across all MasterBrand eCommerce businesses at The Home Depot and through all available eCommerce channels (Buy Online Pick Up in Store, Buy Online Ship to Store, Buy Online Deliver from Store, Direct to Customer, etc.) Assist in accurate and timely forecasting through work with Forecasting/Demand Planning partners. Learn the business, execute our strategies and partner with The Home Depot on their objectives, needs, and strategies to create win-win solutions. Utilizes this expertise to build the MasterBrand business within the channel. Learn and utilize Category Management and Fact-Based Selling concepts to strengthen existing business and gain new opportunities. Build and deliver The Home Depot specific presentations for The Home Depot eCommerce Line Reviews, Sales and Marketing Programs, Seasonal updates, Promotions, etc. Identify and communicate Retail Service requirements based on changing market conditions to meet account service and sales goals. Work closely with and provide guidance to the MasterBrand Field team to properly support the program in The Home Depot environment. Develop and manage account-specific omni-channel promotional plan, coordinating with finance, marketing and sales management to align with brand strategies and advertising plans as appropriate. Evaluate the performance of all promotions including those from our competitors. Provide Vice President, National Accounts Home Depot with regular summaries of customer meetings, status on current programs, and outlook on future opportunities. Hire, train, and retain skilled staff through career development and mentoring. Develops in-depth knowledge of all MasterBrand strategic business units. Leverages ideas from other reviews and co-workers to provide value-added recommendations and best practices to others. Consistently demonstrate the MasterBrand Way, positioning the company for growth and helping identify opportunities to reduce waste, complexity, and improve our work environment. Demonstrate teamwork by responsively collaborating with the management and staff, sharing information and ideas, proactively seeking, and accepting constructive feedback. Identify self-development needs and seeks opportunities to work on areas that will further develop skills. Participate in company efforts related to ethics and compliance activities. Travel as business needs require, estimated 20% to 40%. Perform other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion. Qualifications An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required. 5 plus years of experience in the building products industry with a marketing and/or sales background. 2 plus years of working with The Home Depot account recommended. 2 plus years of managing eCommerce business at The Home Depot recommended. 2 plus years of working with The Home Depot marketing and Brand Advocate team recommended. Possess or obtain intimate knowledge of industry products, services, distribution, customers, and competitors. Background or experience with lean tools is recommended. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) required. Ability to travel as business needs require, estimated 20-40% (domestic & internationally).
