Port St. Lucie, FL Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Travel Contract 

Ivory Medical is leading the charge seeking Florida   licensed  Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs ) to join our Anesthesia Care Team at an exceptionally supported Surgical Center in Port St. Lucie beginning as soon as possible.

Experienced providers with full-time availability (40 hrs/week) are encouraged to apply! We have an exceptional in-house credentialing team and travel coordinators standing by to ensure this assignment fits seamlessly into your practice schedule with full malpractice coverage and weekly pay!

The facility boasts an incredible support staff and is well-equipped with a robust multidisciplinary team of our lead Anesthesiologist (MDA) and 4 experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) equipped to handle any situation. Opportunity Specifics:

• Assignment Type: CAA Travel Contract
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed - Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm)
• Compensation: Competitive Weekly Pay, Travel, Lodging and Malpractice Coverage

About the Facility:

• Setting: Surgical Hospital
• Rooms: 2 OR's & 2 Procedure Rooms
• Annual Case Count: 4,000 Cases Annually
• Call? No Call - No Weekends
• Cases:  Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology
• EMR: Epic

Candidate Responibilities: 

Under the medical direction and supervision of an Anesthesiologist, the CAA’s functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Obtain a preliminary preanesthetic health history, perform an appropriate preanesthetic physical examination and record pertinent data.
• Performing or assisting in the conduct of diagnostic laboratory and related studies as appropriate.
• Establishing noninvasive and invasive routine monitoring modalities as delegated by the responsible Anesthesiologist.
• Assisting in the application and interpretation of advanced monitoring techniques such as pulmonary artery catheterization, electroencephalographic spectral analysis, echocardiography and evoked potentials.
• Assisting in inducing, maintaining and altering anesthesia levels, administering adjunctive treatment and providing continuity of anesthetic care into and during the postoperative recovery period.
• Assisting in making postanesthesia patient rounds by recording patient progress notes, compiling and recording case summaries and by transcribing standing and specific orders.
• Assisting in the performance of duties in intensive care units, pain clinics and other settings, as appropriate.

Candidate Requirements:

• License: Active Florida State License
• Education: Graduate of an accredited program
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Background: Clear personal & professional background
