As an Agent Trainee, you will be crucial to our team, driving revenue growth by selling high-quality insurance products to our valued clients. Responsibilities

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop marketing strategies and promote new insurance contracts.
  • Suggest additions or changes to existing contracts.

Client Management:

  • Build productive relationships to generate prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Deliver risk management strategies that fit client profiles.
  • Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.

Needs Assessment:

  • Evaluate customers needs and financial status.
  • Propose protection plans that meet customer criteria.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping:
  • Report progress of initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Maintain bookkeeping systems, database, and records.

Claims and Compliance:

  • Monitor insurance claims for satisfaction.
  • Fulfill all policy requirements.
  • Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services.

Licensing:

  • Obtain or possess a Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Obtain or possess a Michigan Life and Health Insurance license.
Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in sales, particularly in insurance, is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Personal Attributes:

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Licensing:

  • Must possess a valid insurance license (or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
